Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end weekend logistics operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery coordination
- Lead cross-functional weekend teams of 8-12 warehouse and distribution staff
- Optimize weekend delivery routes using advanced logistics software to ensure 99% on-time performance
- Implement weekend safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Analyze weekend operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with weekday managers for seamless operational handovers
- Resolve escalated customer issues with weekend-specific service disruptions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in logistics/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- OSHA certification and Forklift Operator License required
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ personnel
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills for weekend-specific operational challenges
