Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and medical documentation
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Maintain accurate medical records and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with weekend nursing and specialist teams
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid Florida healthcare provider CPR card
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
