Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care coordination during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless continuity of care
- Respond to emergencies and implement crisis intervention procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in weekend staff development and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN license in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS) certification required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
