Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient assessments and care coordination during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to urgent medical situations with calm professionalism
- Educate patients on preventive health and self-care strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN, LVN, or Medical Assistant license in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
