As a weekend shift specialist, you'll work exclusively Saturday-Sunday with every other weekday off, providing flexibility while maintaining full-time status. Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Manage electronic health records and documentation systems
- Lead interdisciplinary care team meetings on Saturdays
- Respond to urgent patient inquiries and triage situations
- Oversee weekend medication administration protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with weekday leadership for seamless care transitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 3+ years clinical or healthcare coordination experience
- Current Nebraska healthcare certification (LPN/RN/CMA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems
- Exceptional weekend availability and reliability
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
