Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers across departments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm professionalism
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Mentor new staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required
- 3+ years clinical experience in hospital/clinic setting
- Current Texas nursing license or relevant certification
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environment
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday shifts
