Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities and supervise weekend healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and care transitions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to emergency situations and critical incidents
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Participate in weekend staff training and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Nursing (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years healthcare coordination experience
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Valid Massachusetts healthcare license
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays consistently
- CPR/BLS certification required
