Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and spatial internet
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational capabilities with future ecosystem demands
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation pods tackling next-gen challenges
- Produce forward-looking white papers and scenario-planning frameworks for stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy for emerging IP in AI ethics, climate tech, and neuro-interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum, neurotech, climate AI, or spatial computing
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products with 3+ years lead time
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario-planning outputs for 2025+ horizons
