Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI and quantum solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, etc.) for market impact
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Foresight
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents/whitepapers)
- Experience scaling innovation teams from concept to commercialization
- Strong financial modeling and portfolio management skills
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
