Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends across 15+ industries
- Present strategic briefings to board members and venture partners quarterly
- Manage $2.5M annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor 5+ innovation specialists through structured development programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals across multiple disciplines
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and trend analysis methodologies
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
