Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological disruptions and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-era solutions
- Advise C-suite on future-proofing strategies and competitive positioning
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global research consortia
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at future-focused forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of predicting technological adoption curves (3-7 year horizon)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complexity for diverse audiences
