Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' mapping technological and societal inflection points
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for climate adaptation, AI ethics, and post-scarcity economies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and policy teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and national labs
- Curate 'Future Forward' thought leadership series for C-suite executives
- Advise product teams on 5-10 year technology adoption curves
- Represent company at Davos, World Economic Forum, and Singularity University summits
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Emerging Technology
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech ecosystems
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio of successful future-proofed products or policies implemented
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Security clearance for national innovation initiatives
